THIBIAUT FEMUR

Played by Tara

A heart of gold inside a skeleton,
inside a Gnome inside a skeleton.

“Enchanté! Je m’appelle Thib - ahem - so sorry, let me begin again.

Salut, it is nice to meet you all! My name is Thibiaut Femur. I know my visage may be un peu frightening (gnomes are not typically so tall, je sais) but do not be alarmed, I am no danger to you. I am here in search of adventure and bones! Not yours, I promise.

You see, I am a nécromancien - necromancer, sorry. My people use the bones of the ancient dead to assist us in our lives. As a rite of passage each of us is sent out to retrieve bones of great age and great meaning to bring home, along with the stories of the bones to add to our histories. I will not return to my family empty handed!”

Thibiaut Femur (tib-ee-oh fuh-murr) is a gnome wearing a skeleton wearing a trenchcloak. Standing at 3-foot-2 at his shortest and 6 feet even at his tallest, Thibiaut is polite and shy, with a kind soul and a sweet smile. He keeps himself fastidiously clean and tidy but just can’t seem to manage to prevent his floppy dark hair from doing whatever it wants. His ivory-pale complexion provides a stark backdrop to his ghostly blue eyes. The skeleton he rides is clean and well-maintained, and Thibiaut has dressed it in basic clothing under the trenchcloak in the hopes of not scaring those he meets on his adventuring.

SNAKK

Played by John

An evil puppy
on his way to becoming a Dragon.

Fear not, surface dwellers! I, Snakk the kobold will not be among you for long. By the tenth anniversary of my hatching, I will have grown into my wings and secured my place as ruler of the mountains, just as Genie says! You don’t know Genie? I discovered him through his token whilst scavenging a lost horde, deep underground. The lamp glowed like a green torchlight just before he magically appeared. He gave me the gift of zaps in exchange for some favors. We are allies now and he has helped me keep my head while adventuring this bright, lidless world.

Snakk is burnt, reddish orange in color and is small, even for a kobold. He is about 6 years old (just barely an “adult”). He wears a cape with a cowl, both of which are too big for him. He wears some gaudy, ill-fitting rings and necklaces of suspicious origin.

ULI NIS

Played by Maggie

A lonely child from a large family,
bursting with Wild Magic,
and feelings.

Alright listen. I'm Uli, I'm not here to make friends, and I'm clearly the strongest of all of us. If you cross me, I got no problem puttin’ you in your place, and I pack quite a punch. I was born with magic but that doesn't mean I’m some weak little wizard or something. I’m better than that. Just because I can use it doesn't mean I need it to be the best, and I’m just as strong if not stronger with only my fists.

Uli is an awkward, sullen looking half-orc weighing in at 245lbs and standing 6’5” tall, thought she tends to slouch. She has short white hair and an undercut, piercings, scars, and tattoos. She carries herself like someone who pretends at confidence but doesn't quite believe it. As she lives a fairly simple life as a boat repairman, she wears well-worn tunics and breeches, a leather apron, and a big stompy pair of ass-kickin boots.

HOLLY HYACINTH

Played by Hannah

Tildry’s Foremost Crystal-Toting Stitch Witch —
Tell ‘em Holly Hyacinth sent you!

Good day! You there… yes you! Why you look like you’ve been walking far too long. Those boots pinch a bit? Ahhh yes, I can see just by looking at you that you have been sized incorrectly. Just take a seat here at Holly’s Cobbler Corner and we will have you properly fitted for the perfect shoe! We are conveniently located in the Working Wheel near the great magic city’s Librarium. We service many powerful magical people, and I’m certain you’ve heard of our excellent footwear and polishing services. I’m a certified Witch, graduate of the School of Transmutation, and a proud member of the Cobbler’s Guild. Holly, yes that’s me, guarantees the best fit in Tildry!

Holly is a human woman in her early 30’s. She is medium build, with a bob of straight pink hair. She wears comfortable, plain but feminine clothes for working in; always skirts or dresses covered by a worker’s apron. Of course, she wears the nicest leather boots you’ve ever seen on a shop-owner… and you question if they have any magical properties. She is never far from her animal familiar, a chameleon named Onree, that usually sits on her shoulder or is sleeping in her apron pocket.

ENGELBERT F. F.
WISHERSPOON

Played by Thomas

Intrepid Journalist
for the Tildry Times
Tracking down Tales,
and Tracing the Truth.

Have you got a story to tell? Friend, you could do no better than to trust that tale to the pen of Engelbert F.F. Wisherspoon. Author of such works as “Trouble in Tildry” and “The Snapdragon Incident”, I am always on the lookout for the next big story. And fear not, for I am no lecherous Bard. I am proud to represent the Librarium, beacon of truth and center of all knowledge in this land. I studied there for many years and am now one of their official scribes. I’ve pored over every book and scroll in our archives, and there’s still so much about the world to know! That’s why the Librarium sent me outside those familiar walls and into a world teeming with tales just waiting to be told. Now I’m out on my own, hunting down the stories that will one day line the seemingly endless bookshelves back home.

Engelbert (“Bert” as his friends call him) is tall for a gnome, with a burly mustache and brimmed hat. He always carries with him a large tome, which he is constantly writing in with a quill pen. He’s naturally inquisitive and a bit too much of a know-it-all. He’s willing to do anything to get to the bottom of a good story, which sometimes gets him into trouble.
